11-Years!!!

Tomorrow I celebrate 11 years with the love of my life!! I am so excited for us.. We are in such a good place right now. I love it~~ Tomorrow we are going to a murder mystery bed and breakfast. I am excited and nervous all in one!!

I am Lady Nancy ~ was a teacher in an exclusive English boarding school until her marriage to Sir Philip. Very little is known about her early childhood. What her girlfriends know that her husband doesn't is that she hates the thought of pregnancy and has confessed to her girlfriends that she doesn't want children.
Jason is Sir Philip Fitzpatrick~ British Navel Officer. Recently took his wife to Zurich to a fertility specialist. He is a devoted husband and cannot bring himself to tell her the truth of her condition. He has brought her to the Stone Lion Inn for a quiet holiday before returning to England.

Yesterday

Yesterday morning I woke up to Andrew asking, "Mom, when are you going to get up so we can go to Guymon?" I told him that if he wanted to go quicker he had to go upstairs and get 4 shorts, 4 shirts, 4 pajamas, and 4 underwear. Thinking that this would buy me an extra hour of sleep, I rolled over and went back to sleep. Next thing I knew, he came down asking, "Where do I put my clothes?" Finally realizing that he was serious, got up and got in the shower. We got ready and then went to eat with Jason at Alvarado's. When we took Jason back home to drop him off the radio was playing "Wonderful Tonight." For those who don't know, that is our song. One night when we were dating he put that song on, and we danced to it in his bedroom after he had cooked me a romantic diner. We also danced to it at our wedding. I almost couldn't leave him alone after hearing that song. It was sad, but I left. The kids were good on the trip. We only had a few hiccups. Jade took her seat belt off while I was going down the highway, so she got into trouble, and I had to pull over right before Slapout. From Slapout, Andrew asked 3,000 times "Are we there yet?" I told him that if he asked again, I was going to turn around and go home. After arriving at Guymon, the kids started swimming. We had a cookout with John, Savannah, Kailey, Reanna, Aaron, Hunter, Hannah, mom, dad, me and the kids. It was a fun night.

I'm excited about today, cuz I'm going golfing with my dad. It is going to be cool and a first..

Another Catch Up Blog

I really need to get in the habit of blogging everyday. I do a lot of stuff and I really want to write about it, but I always forget to blog....

Since the reunion we have been to White Water.. I didn't take my camera, so no pics. I am upset about it too. My kids rock! They didn't get scared the whole time we were there. They even both jumped off the cliffs. Here is Jade in a floaty swim suit and she is jumping off a 8-9 ft cliff. Crazy kid! We had a blast at the water park.

Other than the water park, we have stayed home, played t-ball, and golf.

Oh Yeah.. Big NEWS!! I'm a golfer now. Who would've thought... :) I didn't understand the sport for years and then Jason started inviting me to tag along. One thing lead to another, and now I love it... I got new clubs and have really only had the chance to play a full game once, but I want to play all the time.

Tomorrow I am heading to Guymon so that Friday I can go golf with my dad. Saturday is Aunt Gina's wedding and then we will head home on Sunday. I am excited about my weekend.

A day in the life!

Today was a normal day. I got up and drank coffee until 11:00 because I stayed up late the night before. Jason and I stay up and watch movies. Right now we are watching True Blood season 1. We have Netflix so we get 3 disc at a time. After drinking coffee, I cooked lunch because the kids where hungry. The kids had spaghetti-o's.. They are nasty, but the kids like them. Later we went to Walmart. Tonight was suppose to be Jade's T-ball game at 7:30, but a big storm rolled into town. Well it didn't really rain here, but it did somewhere in the City. I'm now watching TV and the kids are in the bath. I am glad the week is over. Jason worked days and all week long I had two kids asking what can we do now. Tomorrow we have a exciting day planned. We are going to White Water. The kids have never been. I went twice when I was younger. It looks the same.

Mutschler Family Reunion

The Mutschler Family Reunion was held in Elk City at the Holiday Inn or now it is the Elk... It is under construction and renaming... Anyways... My mother's dad is Carl Mutschler, he is 80 years old and this is his reunion. We are all kin, but we really don't know each other very well. Every two years we all get together at this same hotel and have a ball. This year there was an auction, a bunch of buffets, and karaoke. My grandad played his guitar and sang a couple songs. Jade sang "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus and "Oh how I love Jesus". Reanna and I sang "Grandpa" by the Judds. Also a big group of us sang "I'll Fly Away." I was so proud of Jade.. She wasn't scared at all. I on the other hand was scared to death. My chest was red and I was shaking. Andrew made a new friend with Rosie, one of my distant cousins. He was swimming with her, and he told his dad "Man she's Hot." I'm not even sure he knows what that means, but it was cute. I reminded him that she was his cousin. Us kids (Re, Le, Aaron, and Jason) all went to the casino later that evening and the kids stayed with Mamaw and Papaw. I don't think they got any sleep at all. According to mom and dad, the kids started out on the floor. Then Jade got
in bed with mom. A few hours later, Andrew climbed in with mom, then Hannah followed. Mom moved to width of the foot of the bed. Man, if we only had a video of this. Then dad got Hannah out of the bed and put her in bed with him. After that, they got a little bit of rest and it was time to go to the Breakfast Buffet. We woke up and went to the buffet and then Grandad had a mini church gathering. He read the Faith, Hope, and Love chapter, and then Lin got up and said a prayer. After that Jade got up and tried to sing "When we all get to Heaven" but ended up singing "Jesus Loves Me." It was a fun weekend with family. I was so proud of Jade's bravery. I asked her if she was scared when she was up there singing and she said "No... Why would I be scared... He was not a stranger." (He meaning the man who owned the Karaoke machine.) Even though that was my favorite part, it was also pretty special that Grandad sang with his guitar. He has been doing that since my mom was a little girl.

Family day... July 10, 2009

Today we had a family fun day. We started it off by cooking a rotisserie chicken. Andrew loves them from Walmart, so I bought a rotisserie cooker and we tried it out. It took us forever to prepare the chicken. We didn't know how to tie its legs, so we had to go online and watch a How To video. After figuring it out, it had to cook for 2 hrs. The kids were hungry and Andrew stood there and watched it go round and round forever. Lunch was ready at 12:30... When we sat down to eat Andrew insisted on eating the legs. It was a good chicken. You would have thought it was Christmas morning by the excitement in the kids voice. After lunch, we went outside and I dangled in my pool... The kids love to swim and that is all we have for now, but they have so much fun in that little thing. While we played outside it became supper time. We cooked jalapenos on the grill with cheese and bacon. The kids had sausage and corn. It was a small meal because we had ate so much for lunch. After all of the backyard fun we went to watch firecrackers. Frank had called and invited us to go with him because it rained they had postponed it to the 10th.

The Hayes' went with us to watch the fireworks. We took the kids to the park across the street and let them slide down some slides and then watched a beautiful 15 minute firework show. Mallory didn't really like the fireworks and I felt sorry for her, but the rest of the kids love them. After that we came home and went to bed. The next day we woke up and went to Elk City for the family reunion.

Yesterday we had a wonderful time at Frontier city. It was our first time to go and we all enjoyed it so much. As soon as we got there, it started to rain. We ran into one of the building and it said Bob the Builder in 5 mins. We watched the show and when it was over the rain had stopped. We got to ride a ton of roller coasters and other rides. After we had fun there, we went to Chuck E Cheese's for Jacob's Birthday party. He turned 5. All in all it was a fun day.

A day on the Golf Course

Yesterday we went golfing... We had a blast. It was beautiful outside. I realize I am not good at all and I have never hit the ball all the way to the hole, but it is still nice to be outside. Driving the carts is fun too. I let Jade take the wheel. There is a reason kids can't drive til 16. She felt like a big girl. Andrew got out and putted on the greens. Maybe someday, they will be my pros.

4th of July

We had a wonderful time in Guymon. The firework show was beautiful and we also popped a few out in the street. Most of the day was spent floating in the pool.. It was my kind of day.

Andrew's Birthday!!!

For Andrew's Birthday, we decided to do something different, we asked him what he wanted to do. I figured since he was turning 7 he might want some of his friends from school to be able to come. Evey year in the past we have celebrated in Guymon. He told us that he wanted his party at Jump Zone. We had a blast jumping on the inflatables with all of our friends. There was 18 kids there. We had his party on July 2nd because we figured a lot of people would be out of town with it being July 4th weekend. On July 3rd we drove to Guymon and had a little party with family and also fireworks.

The day!

Today I went on a date with Jason. I think it was the second time since we moved here that we have gone to the movies together. Just the two of us... It felt kind of strange, because I wasn't chasing a kid. I was able to talk to him.. How nice it is to talk to your spouse without being interrupted. After the movies, John and Savannah came up for Andrew's birthday party tomorrow. We will celebrate at Jump Zone. His actually b-day isn't until the 5th, so we are having a family party in Guymon on the 4th.

We went to a Berry Orchard with some friends last week. We had a wonderful time picking berries and apples. The apples were not ready to eat, so we fed them to the horses.
