October fun!!

So far this October, we have had many fun festive times. We went to the pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins and play on hay. Also we went to the Zoo and trick-or-treated. We will also be going around the block on Halloween and making candy apples and pop corn balls.

At the pumpkin patch, we learn about pumpkins and gourds. I didn't know that they all had a name. Of course I can't remember any of the names, but it was interesting to learn. We also played with the animals and slide down the hay stacks.

Last night at the zoo we went walking around and trick-or-treating. It was neat to see how it was decorated.

Last weekend!

Ok so I had a busy week last week. We had dance on Monday night. Jade's friend Ashley joined her dance class. Tuesday we had parent teacher conference at Andrew's school and found out even though he is the class clown he is above average in reading and recognizing letters. Then we drove to Guymon. We stayed in Guymon for two days. It was fun. We had one late night of Karaoke and another of Grease. A couple of my friends from school where in a production down town. It was pretty fun to watch them. Then we came home. Yesterday my friend from Temple, Wendy came through town and stopped by to say hi. We went to eat at Johnny Corino's. It was fun catching up with her. Jason has worked every night since we got home, but he is off today. He made me go get my flu shot and it hurts to type so, I am going to go lay down now. :)

My baby is 4!!

Yesterday we celebrated Jaden's Birthday. She is now 4. We had a party at our house. It was a lot of fun. I was really sad all day because I can't believe that my baby is getting so old. I realized today that I haven't changed a diaper in 3 years. I never thought I would miss that. I don't really, but it makes me wonder, am I really old enough to be done having kids? I look back on all of the fun times we have had through the years and how quickly they have passed. I also think about the fact that in four years from now she will be 8. Now please don't tell me that will come as fast as 4 did. Anyways, we have met some awesome people here. We had about 8 families at the party. Not too bad for being new to a town. I am so glad the party has now passed. Jaden has been singing herself "Happy Birthday" for at least a week. She had a lot of friends come to her party. Her new friend Ashley. Ashley and her go to school together and have really hit it off. Now Ashley is in her dance class and they get to play together on Monday nights too. Also Noah, Jacob, Mallory, Collin, Caleb, Tate, Kailey Elizabeth, and Gracie all came to her party.
