Getting Settled!

I think we are about moved in!!!! I can't believe it! We can now fit our car in the garage. We still have a some boxes in bedrooms, but the two living rooms and kitchen are done. Yesterday I had some girls over for lunch. It was a great time. My kids are not as sad about being here now. Andrew and Jade already have two new friends Jacob and Noah, and when Mallory gets old enough, I am sure they will get along with her too. Most of my days are spent waiting on people to come and do stuff. Yesterday I was stuck at home from 10-2 p.m. waiting on the Murphy bed. When it came, it was the wrong color. I was pretty sad about it. They sent it back and I should be getting a new one by August 20th. Today I am waiting on the alarm people to come and set out alarm. Of course like all places they can't give you a set time. I am to be home from 10-12 today. I need to go school clothes and supply shopping. I guess it will have to wait.

Busy! Busy! Busy!

Man oh man have we had a busy week. I am now living in OKC and unpacking. We had quite a trip moving here. It started out with a truck that wasn't big enough and ended with Jason pulling a Uhaul. We left Temple at 9:00 p.m. and drove all night. We got here at 2:30 a.m. That morning at around 8:00 a.m. we got up and unloaded everything and waited on the moving van. Our kids went to see their Granma Nancy. I am so grateful we had their help and the kids had a blast.

While the kids where in Kaw City with Granma Nancy and Granpa Tom, Jason and I celebrated our 10-year anniversary on July 31st. We went to the furniture store and bought new furniture for our new house. On Aug 1st we closed on our house at 9:00 a.m. and left town to pick up the kids and go to the rehearsal dinner. Jade was a flower in cousin Krista's wedding.

It was such a beautiful wedding. I cried like a baby. My baby cousin shouldn't be old enough to get married, and my baby girl looked so big walking down the aisle. Hannah made it down the aisle as well. She has been in a few wedding and been too shy to walk down the aisle. She did a great job and I am so proud of her. I think they both looked adorable.
After a fun weekend in Guymon, we came home to finish unpacking. I am closer to being done, but I still have a bunch of boxes in the garage. I love every square inch of my new home, and I really think I am going to like my neighborhood. Tonight Kristina and Chris friend's of Nghia and Melissa that live in the neighborhood came over and brought us muffins. It turns out that we are going to be sharing back fences with this couple. They are going to build on the lot behind us. They are a very nice couple and I look forward to getting to know them better.
